Borderlands 3 has just arrived at Google Stadia, but as it seems to be inevitable, there is always one catch.
In news that is sure to leave some foreheads bogged down, the Stadia version of Borderlands 3 arrived two months after the existing Xbox One, PC and PS4 versions, but is already two months late.
According to Gearbox itself, the Stadia version of Borderlands 3 is from October 24th and this means that it arrives without many of the new features introduced by the team.
“We want to achieve feature parity across all versions of Borderlands 3 by early 2020, but for the moment, the version of the game you play at Stadia has benefited from updates and fixes released through October 24.”
This means the Mayhem 4 difficulty is not in this release, as are Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite content, dedicated boss loot pools, and other new features.
It’s a strange situation, but Gearbox says it will solve it early next year.
