When Ricardo Peláez he came to the Chivas as director of sports in the last quarter of 2019, one of the first tasks was to interview with Diego Alonso, weeks after the coach left the steering wheel Scratched, but the uruguayan confessed that prior to their meeting with the official red and white talked of the possibility with Luis Fernando Tena.

“When you compete in Concacaf I will see that topic (the differences between Liga MX AND MLS), I came to the MLS for that, to win the Concacaf with a team of here,” he said.
