Robert Pattinson’s rumors as the next Batman in Warner Bros. live-action adaptations. were enough to spread chaos among the fans of the character and this promises to continue.
Pattinson’s announcement as the new Batman, made in May this year, is still rife, and criticism of the actor is mounting, even though we haven’t seen any promotional material about The Batman.
This could affect the actor and put him under great pressure to win over viewers, but according to a recent interview, he is not worried about it because he really wanted this role.
“I felt a connection to him, I don’t know why. I just wanted him,” says Pattinson about accepting to be the new Batman, especially since it’s something that has a kind of appeal to everyone.
On the pressure and criticism, Pattinson seems to be too enthusiastic to worry about it:
“I’m starting to remember what it’s like to talk about a movie for which there is the expectation. Whenever you say something, people react by saying, ‘Argh! You’re an idiot!’ Man, I haven’t even started yet! “
The actor also says he is his biggest critic and “so I don’t have to worry about anyone else.”
